Deutsch: Am 11. September 2001 filmten einige Passanten das Geschehen am World Trade Center. Auf diesem Video sieht man zweifelsfrei eine massive Explosion in einem der beiden Tower. Aus dem anderen Tower kommen schwarze Rauchschwaden, wie von einem Schwelbrand. Die Explosion ist hollywood-reif. Wenn aus einem Flugzeug Flugbenzin ausläuft, so mag es zwar zu einem Brand kommen, aber kann das wirklich so eine Explosion auslösen? Und wenn das Gebäude diese massive Explosion übersteht, wie kann ihm dann ein wenig Schwelbrand so zusetzen, dass es vollständig kollabiert?
English: On 11 September 2001, some passers-by filmed the events at the World Trade Center. On this video you can undoubtedly see a massive explosion in one of the two towers. Black clouds of smoke are coming out of the other tower, as if from a smouldering fire. The explosion is Hollywood-ready. If aviation fuel leaks out of an aircraft, there may be a fire, but can that really cause such an explosion? And if the building survives this massive explosion, how can a little smouldering fire affect it so much that it collapses completely?
