Grateful, Ali Shar didn't treat her as a slave, but as an equal. For her part, Zumurrud wanted to bring her new master out of his funk. She sewed beautiful elaborate curtains for him to sell in the market place. Her skill brought Ali Shar great fortune and many were envious.
But all was not well. One of the pervert would-be buyers, Barsum, was still infatuated with Zumurrud, and in the guise of purchasing a curtain, he invited himself over to Ali Shar's house for dinner. During the meal he drugged the pair, then kidnapped Zumurrud in the dead of the night, planning to do unspeakable things to her.
Working out how to escape the harem she was placed in, Zumurrud is once again kidnapped, this time by a random Kurd. He took her to a cave, but she beat the shit out of the asshole, stoled his clothes, and enters the nearby city dressed as a man.
Now in this strange city there was a festival going on as the Sultan had passed away. Since he had no children it was agreed upon that whoever entered the gate next would be the new ruler. Zumurrud was that person. Now a Sultana, Zumurrud had the power and means to make things right. She captured her would-be rapers and executed them brutally.
When Ali Shar shows up in town (as he had been looking for her), she tested his love for her while in disguise. Pleased with his answers, Zumurrud revealed herself to him and they had a happy reunion. Shortly after, they got married.File history
